My mom was dropping me off at my dad's house. He lives in La Push, Washington. My mom lives in California. I'll definately miss the sun and the beach. It isn't sunny here at all. Goodbye to bikinis and shorts. Hello to sweaters and jeans. My mom drove into his driveway and stopped the car. I opened the door only to see a cloudy sky and a extremely small house. I was staying here this year and maybe next year. I started to walk up to the door and as soon as I got there my dad opened the door. I guess he heard the car. My dad had a very welcoming smile on his face.
" Hi Alex. Welcome back to La Push." He said in a welcoming way. My mom followed me to the door to hand me my bags. She handed some to my father too. We both walked into the house and I took my stuff to my room.
" Hi dad." I said before I went upstairs. I kept on walking until I stopped at the room with the teal walls. I set my bags on my bed and took out most of my clothes and shoes. My bag with accesories was downstairs with my dad. I ran downstairs and stopped at the last step.
" Dad, are we going to the beach again?" I said really quickly and loud.
" Yeah. We need to catch up." He told me.
We walked out of the house and headed to his car. The people in La Push call this place the reservation. I think a reservation is just a house. People here are so strange. While we were in the car and my dad was driving, I fell asleep. There was nothing better to do. Then I started developing a fever and I woke up. I took of my jacket I had on over my tank top. I sighed in relief. Then my dad went over to touch my forehead.
" Alex, are you feeling okay? You have a fever." My dad asked me.
" No. I don't feel good. Can you please stop the car?" I asked him.
" Yeah. I'll turn around and head home." He said answering my question.
